Get in touch.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. Finding someone you click with is an important piece of the therapy journey, and it’s common to feel nervous or unsure in the beginning.

I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can feel out together if we could be a good fit. There’s no pressure here, just space to ask questions, share what’s going on for you, and get a sense of how I work.

 FAQs

  • Sessions are 50-minutes in length, collaborative, and confidential (with limits in some situations). We’ll start by checking in and determining what you want to explore. Next, we’ll deepen into your inner experience using a variety of therapeutic techniques, tailored specifically to you. Before ending, we’ll integrate any shifts that may have taken place and focus on transitioning back into your day.

  • That’s largely up to you. I usually suggest starting with sessions weekly or every other week, as this helps us build connection and momentum. From there, we can adjust frequency based on how things are feeling for you. Some people like to meet regularly, and others prefer a bit more time between sessions. I typically don’t recommend spacing sessions out longer than a month apart.

Because I work at a root-cause level, my work with clients tends to be longer term. That being said, some people find what they’re looking for in a shorter time frame. The length of therapy depends on your concerns and goals, as well as your unique pacing through the process.

  • My office is on the third floor, accessible by elevator. A gender neutral washroom is available in the office.

  • Private practice mental health care is unfortunately not covered by OHIP, however, most extended health benefits include coverage for services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. If you’re not sure whether your plan offers coverage, it’s best to contact your insurance provider directly.

  • My rate is $200 per 50-minute session. If appropriate, longer sessions may be available at a prorated fee.

  • My cancellation policy is 48 hours. Appointments cancelled or changed with less than 48-hours notice will be subject to the session fee.

  • I have a limited number of spots on my caseload reserved for sliding scale fees, which are offered based on ability to pay. Please contact me for more information if cost is a barrier to accessing services.

  • I am not a crisis service. While I work hard to ensure the safety of my clients, I’m unable to be available outside of business hours. If you are in immediate distress, the following crisis resources are available 24/7 in Toronto:
